As well as staging their own Mission 45 nights at venues around London and abroad they have also played at various vintage hot spots including Buzzsaw Joint, Paper Dress Vintage, The Nitty Gritty and DJ Andy Smith’s Jam up Twist night. They are also founder members of dj collective Original Dance Music .

On their travels Jon and Karey have dj’ed in Berlin, Bangkok, Paris, Barcelona, Hanoi, Ho Chi Min City, New York, L.A & San Francisco as well as playing at various festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Kendal Calling, Bandada, Castlepalooza in Ireland and La Batie in Switzerland.

They also exist as the recording artist da7 and have recorded two singles, Dopamine Fiend and Luxury Kills now available as a double sided 7 inch and on digital download.

How did you two meet?

We met on the dancefloor, duked out some moves and that was that, bound forever.

Best house party you’ve ever been to?

A party we threw at The Notting Hill Carnival - it went off big time.

Where else have you played/where do you dream of playing?

Have played all over world inc. Barcelona, Berlin, Bangkok, Ho Chi Min City, New York and L.A. We would do anything to play in Tokyo.

Favourite record store in the universe?

It would have to be Sounds that Swing in Camden as always chock full of records we want.

The track that never fails you?

Somebody’s always trying - Ted Taylor
